The 2nd IEEE International Conference on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Engineering (IEEE-ICBAIE 2021) was successfully held on March 27, 2021 in Nanchang. Prof. Goh Hui Hwang, IEEE Senior Member, Head of Department for School of Electrical Engineering, Guangxi University. His speech title was “AI and Big Data Analytics and Insight in Power System: State Predictive Transformation”. He mainly illustrated 2 cases: one was Short-term wind power prediction based on preprocessing and improved secondary decomposition; the other was A short-term load forecasting model using multi-head CNN-LSTM hybrid neural network.

‘’Towards Collaborative Intelligence in Internet of Vehicles’’ was reported byProf. Kai Liu,IEEE Senior Member, College of Computer Science, Chongqing University, China. Prof. Liu discussed the key technologies to achieve collaborative intelligence in vehicular networks. Considering the high node mobility, dynamic network topology, uncertain vehicle connectivity and heterogeneous network resources in vehicular networks. Prof. Liu's team made a very comprehensive presentation on the research of service architecture and scheduling algorithms for collaborative data distribution and task offloading and demonstrated the system prototype of its typical applications.
重庆大学刘凯教授作题为《车联网中的协同智能研究》的报告;刘教授讨论了在车联网中实现协同智能的关键技术,考虑到车辆网高节点移动性、动态网络拓扑、不确定的车辆连通性和异构的网络资源等,刘教授团队在用于协作数据分发和任务卸载的服务体系结构和调度算法的研究方面作了非常全面介绍并展示其典型应用的系统原型。
Assoc.Prof. Xudong Sun, East China Jiaotong University, Member of China Councilof Near Infrared Spectroscopy given his report: THz spectral imaging an emerging technology for food quality assessment. His speech’s outline included 4 parts: 1. Terahertz (THz) technology; 2. Defect and foreign body detection; 3. Harmful component detection; 4. Moisture content measurement.

The conference also set up four sessions: "Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and IOT Engineering", "Big Data and Wireless Sensing", "Artificial Intelligence and Control Engineering", and "IOT Engineering and Advanced Algorithms". Nearly 200 experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities and research institutions gave reports on related topics and shared and exchanged with the participants. In addition, nearly 20 experts and scholars made a vivid poster presentation.
