The 2nd IEEE International Conference on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things Engineering (IEEE-ICBAIE 2021) was successfully held on March 27, 2021 in Nanchang. This conference is sponsored by IEEE Consumer Technology Society, East China Jiaotong University and Nanchang Institute of Technology, East China Jiaotong University's Key Laboratory of Vehicles and Equipment of the Ministry of Education, AEIC Academic Exchange Information Center, Nanchang Economic Development High-level Talent Association and Beijing Boku Yinzhi Information Technology Research Institute.

2021年3月27日,IEEE 第二届大数据、人工智能与物联网工程国际会议(IEEE-ICBAIE 2021)在南昌顺利召开。本届会议由IEEE消费电子协会、华东交通大学与南昌理工学院联合主办、华东交通大学载运工具与装备教育部重点实验室、AEIC学术交流中心、南昌经开高层次人才联谊会与北京博库引智信息技术研究院联合承办。



Prof. Zhining ChenIEEE Fellow, Academician of Singapore Academy of Engineering, National University of Singapore and Prof. Chen Zhilong, Vice President of Nanchang Institute of Technology addressed opening remarks for ICBAIE 2021 respectively.

新加坡工程院院士、新加坡国立大学终身正教授、国际电子电气工程师学会会士(IEEE Fellow)陈志宁教授、南昌理工学院副校长陈志龙教授分别为大会开幕式致辞。



Prof. YinQuan Yu, Fellow of SAS, IEEE Senior Member, director of Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing and Precision Machining in ECJTUEast China Jiaotong University as the host of ICBAIE 2021 introduced the keynote speakers one by one.



Prof. Yongxin Guo, IEEE Fellow, Full Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS), Laboratory Supervisor for both the MMIC Modelling and Packaging Laboratory & the Antennas and Scattering Processing Laboratory given his speech: Smart Wireless Sensing of Life Activities for Smart Hospitals in IoT. And he mainly introduced 3 points in his research: 1. Capsule Endoscopy Platform; 2. Radar-based Non-Contact Wireless Sensing; 3. Wifi-based Non-Contact Wireless Sensing.

新加坡国立大学郭永新教授作题为《用于生物医学和医疗保健应用的生命活动智能无线传感》的报告, 郭教授在报告中详细介绍了他们研发的可吞入严查肠道疾病的电子药丸、老人跌倒信号发生器和非接触式心脏功能探测器等。


Prof. Goh Hui HwangIEEE Senior Member, Head of Department for School of Electrical Engineering, Guangxi University. His speech title was “AI and Big Data Analytics and Insight in Power System: State Predictive Transformation”. He mainly illustrated 2 cases: one was Short-term wind power prediction based on preprocessing and improved secondary decomposition; the other was A short-term load forecasting model using multi-head CNN-LSTM hybrid neural network.

广西大学吴晖锽教授作题为《人工智能与电力系统大数据分析与洞察:状态预测转换》的报告, 吴教授详细介绍了大数据在智慧电网系统中的应用,深入探讨了基于数据预处理和改进二次分解的短期风电预测和构建基于CNN-LSTM混合神经网络的短期负荷预测模型。


Prof. Liang GaoSecretary of the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology introduced his research “Data-driven & Learning Enabled Fault Diagnosis ” and his speech elaborated deeply the economical practicality, reliability and importance of data-driven failure prediction.

华中科技大学高亮教授在线作题为《基于数据驱动和学习的故障诊断》的报告, 报告中详细阐明了基于数据驱动的故障预测的经济实用性、可靠性和重要性。



‘’Towards Collaborative Intelligence in Internet of Vehicles’’ was reported by Prof. Kai Liu, IEEE Senior Member, College of Computer Science, Chongqing University, China. Prof. Liu discussed the key technologies to achieve collaborative intelligence in vehicular networks. Considering the high node mobility, dynamic network topology, uncertain vehicle connectivity and heterogeneous network resources in vehicular networks. Prof. Liu's team made a very comprehensive presentation on the research of service architecture and scheduling algorithms for collaborative data distribution and task offloading and demonstrated the system prototype of its typical applications.



Assoc. Prof. Xudong SunEast China Jiaotong University, Member of China Council of Near Infrared Spectroscopy given his report: THz spectral imaging an emerging technology for food quality assessment. His speech’s outline included 4 parts:  1. Terahertz (THz) technology; 2. Defect and foreign body detection; 3. Harmful component detection; 4. Moisture content measurement.



The conference also set up four sessions: "Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and IOT Engineering", "Big Data and Wireless Sensing", "Artificial Intelligence and Control Engineering", and "IOT Engineering and Advanced Algorithms". Nearly 200 experts and scholars from domestic and foreign universities and research institutions gave reports on related topics and shared and exchanged with the participants. In addition, nearly 20 experts and scholars made a vivid poster presentation.

This conference provides a platform for experts and scholars, engineers and technicians, and technical developers engaged in research on big data, artificial intelligence and Internet of Things to share scientific research results and cutting-edge technologies, realize academic development trends, broaden research ideas, strengthen academic research and discussion, and promote cooperation in industrialization of academic achievements.
